A Day in the Life
| 6:00am - At work, safety meeting with crews. Discuss objectives for the day. | |
| 7:00am - Check emails, make lists for my own objectives | |
| 8:00am - Anything from compiling submittals, reviewing drawings – work on objectives | |
| 9:00am - Walk the site – discuss progress and any issues with workers | |
| 10:00am - Make sure everyone on the mainland that I need to talk to has been contacted since their day is coming to an end. | |
| 11:00am - Discuss potential cost and buyout status with my project manager. | |
| 12:00pm - Lunch | |
| 1:00pm - Update spreadsheets, email | |
| 2:00pm - Email, follow up with suppliers, subcontractors for material and work status | |
| 3:00pm - Walk site; verify work objectives have been completed. | |
| 4:00pm - Update schedule, look at upcoming work and materials needed | |
| 5:00pm - Head home | |
