Project Status: Completed

The construction of Jet Fuel Storage at the Travis Air Force Base in Fairfield, California, included two 92) 100,000-bbl capacity bulk storage tanks with concrete containment berms and basins; potable water and wastewater collection; a fire alarm system; and a backup diesel generator for the POL Operation Building. The POL Operation Building includes a fuels lab, classroom, office space, and a fuel control center. The Refueler Maintenance Facility includes paved parking for refueler vehicles, 3 maintenance bays, 1 vehicle checkout bay, an office, a tool and parts room, and a break room. Watts Constructors also performed the following: Earthwork, Utilities, Demolition, Fueling pipe & equipment installation, Tank foundation construction, Concrete construction, Civil work for electrical, Contaminated soil handling/removal, Soil processing/screening, and Quality control.
