This project is a 1-story 190,000 sf renovation with the addition of a mezzanine, the scope of which includes: Mobilization and demobilization; Demolition and removal of existing asphalt concrete pavement; Demolition and removal of existing water lines and appurtenances along the front wall of the warehouse and along the separation wall with the Foreign Trade Zone; Removal of existing drain lines which support restrooms; Installation of asphalt concrete pavement inside the warehouse to repair areas disturbed during construction and on the site to support new parking locations; Installation of water lines, valves, meters, backflow preventers, and appurtenances to support new restroom facilities; Installation of new drain lines to support the new restrooms and to provide the ability to accept waste from a ship at the pier; Installation of pavement marking; Erecting the walls, decks, ceilings, and doors; Install required electrical lighting, CCTV cameras, electronic lock on doors, PA systems and security alarms; Demolition and removal of the cementious-asbestos roofing material along the waterfront side of the warehouse; Erect a covered concourse; Install the required infrastructure to support the cruise terminal, to include air-conditioning equipment, backup power supply, fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems; Insulate and fireproof roof structure with spray-on fireproofing; Install security equipment designed on the plan to include guard shacks, remotely operated barriers, and fixed vehicle and personnel barriers, fencing and gates; Install a separation wall between the cruise terminal area in the Foreign Trade Zone; and Install and erect circulation equipment, to include an elevator, four escalators and stairway system.
