The Fort Leonard Wood (FLW) Basic Combat Training III (BCT III) project is a battalion living quarters and training complex located on base at Fort Leonard Wood, MO. FLW construction is managed by the Midwest Region of the US Army Corp of Engineers (USACE) located in Kansas City, MO. The USACE have awarded the BCT III to the Watts-Weitz A Joint Venture (W-W) via the Midwest Region Large Project MATOC. The Project consists of (1) Battalion Headquarters (HQ), (4) Barrack Complex Operations Facility (BCOF1-BCOF4), (1) Lawn Maintenance building (LM), (1) Sewage Pump Station (Pump House) and provisions for a future BCOF5.
The Watts-Weitz JV project team worked 582 consecutive days without a Lost-Work Day Incident. This amazing safety record earned the project a Regional Safety Award from The National Safety Council of the Ozarks.
